Web Design and Development Resources

I have amassed quite a few design and development resources in my time and finally wish to share my favorites with you in one big huge great list for anyone and everyone to learn to design and develop websites as well as grow your skills at being a designer or developer. These happen to be the ones I can most recently remember. As I remember more resources I will update this list.

Boasts having the largest collection of tutorials on the web for all sorts of different softwares and programming languages.

Textures.com is a website that offers digital pictures of all sorts of materials. They have pictures of fabrics, wood, metal, bricks, plastic, and many more.

Smashing Magazine

Smashing Magazine provides more than just essential discoveries in the design and development world, they do so with a commitment to quality content for the design and development community.

W3 Schools

Not yet endorsed by the World Wide Web Consortium, however, their tutorials are accurate towards their standards and best practices.

An open-source web infrastructure that makes designing and developing streamlined and manageable websites much faster and easier. Also known as a content management system or blog platform.

My second favorite open-source web infrastructure functions much more effectively as a content management system than it does a blog and also can be engineered into applications.

One decent and reliable web host that offers private registration of domains and the largest assortments of unique domain extensions that can be registered.

This by far and in my honest opinion is the greatest of all time open-source browser available for free on the internet.
I will battle you for disagreeing.
